I completely agree, my big thought when I came away from Dot & Bubble or heard the "Do you come in a range of colours" joke was "So how are you expecting Black Dr Who fans to feel about that?"

Years of constant focus on the martyrs of Black history has made a lot of these white writers think that white people can't learn about racism unless Black suffering is their teacher!
